L’atelier est spécialisé dans la production à l’unité de kayaks de mer en contreplaqué marine et résine époxy. Cette technique de construction permet la réalisation d’unités légères (environ 17 kg pour un kayak avec deux trappes), personnalisées, solides et durables. Les formes de carènes sont choisies pour garantir une belle glisse et un excellent comportement sur l’eau. La qualité de fabrication fait l’objet d’une attention permanente.
PlyVag is a workshop for the design and manufacture of small wooden boats. Based in France, Côtes d’Armor, near the port of Ploumanac’h, the workshop specialises in the production of sea kayaks made of marine plywood and epoxy resin. This construction technique allows the production of lightweight units (about 17 kg for a kayak with two hatches), customized, solid and durable. The hull shapes are chosen to guarantee a good glide and excellent behavior on the water. The quality of manufacture is the subject of constant attention.

Des lignes tendues, des étraves fines, les kayaks fabriqués dans l’atelier s’inspirent des formes traditionnelles groenlandaises. Très légers, les kayaks en bois se transportent facilement et se révèlent parfaitement adaptés à la navigation côtière.
Tight lines, fine bows, the kayaks made in the workshop are inspired by traditional Greenlandic shapes. Very light, wooden kayaks are easy to transport and are perfectly suited to coastal navigation.
